Remember there are limited pitches with EHU and the site is still open to the public. Also worth remembering new members are continuing to join our group so try to book early to secure yourselves a pitch at what is going to be a fantastic meet
that sounds great billy, i have been to this site its right near the railway station for anyone who doesnt drive. there are 2 nice pubs in the village aswell. i'm going to hopefully give the may one a go and take it from there :)
Forgive me for sounding dumb, but what is the Northern Single Parents & Solo Campers Club? Is it something you have to join or is it just a name you use for a regular group of solo/single parent campers? The reason I ask is because I am thinking of going to the Skipton meet. I am shy at first but be warned I am chatty once I get to know people . I solo van all the time but have never plucked up the courage to go to a solo meet through shyness more than anything. I am only 23 but I am not bothered about what age my fellow campers are as long as everybody is having a good time.
That sound great billy, i'll give them a ring tomorrow.
Hi Charlie, it is just a name for a group of people who camp together, billy started it last year and there are regular get together's, you just look out for the posts and join in if you fancy it.
I went on my first trip with them to Riverside in February and they are very friendly.
Charlie and diwlsn, we are a very friendly and welcoming group of people who just love camping, whatever the weather. We started off with this as our first meet 12 months ago and since then we have met up on several occasions and in several places. It says single/solo but to be honest there are no set rules except that you are friendly. We have a good laugh every time we meet up and always get to have great nights around the firepit. Some times we even get covered from head to foot in mud from giving a helping hand (you know who you are)
So keep an eye on our meet/get together threads and come and joinin with the rest of us nutters

Am I going to be allowed to forget that??
I'd be up for this if it doesn't coincide with the vintage rally in north Wales which I usually go to round about the same time. I'll have to check the dates and sort something out.
Diane, I'm thinking of going back to Manorafon for the first May bank hol if they have a pitch, I'm determined to find my way round the back of the castle to get some pics!

Billy, can you confirm that's the field that's away from the railway line? If there's no deposit then I'll probably ring and book anyway, but don't want to be close to the train track.

Thats right Tigermouse its not the one close to the railway line.
Were all actually on the "none ehu field " The none ehu field does have a row of electric hook ups at the top end back to back with the field we were on last time.People who dont book quick enough who require electric will end up on the field we were on last time, but not the one close to the railway think i got that right
