39 year old male, looking for a camping buddy. I’m relatively new to it, but have found a passion for experiencing and enjoying the great outdoors through walking or cycling. I’m very active, sociable and have a host of interests which are very diverse. Based in North Yorkshire, can travel within a radius of 50 miles.
There had been many similar threads in the past, and they all came to nothing due to various reasons such as too far to travel, wrong time, wrong this or that, etc. etc...
I organised a mini meet once in the early days when I started to go camping on my own with my dog.
All I would say is that, I would rather be on my own, do whatever I like and whenever I like it, than to fit myself around other people's schedule, needs and wants.

Do you have any children? I've got a son who is 12, so need to take that into consideration for longer camps, but I can do weekends when he's at my parents/his dad's...

I have 2 children so understand the organisation which is needed to get away for a day or two. Is there anywhere in particular you like to camp?
