Hi guys, I want to add another 230v socket and have tried to spur off another 230v socket but the original cable is very tight and short to try to spur off it. Unfortunately I’ve loosened the original cable from socket trying to spur it and struggling to reconnect it. Im wondering if anyone knows if I can use a 221 wago and add an extension 1.5mm flexi cable to original cable and attach it to the original socket and then spur another flexi cable for an extra socket?.

Hi firstly I would look to see if you can release cable clips and take original cable a shorter route to the socket. If not I would remove original cable from socket and fit it to a fused switch and then run cable from that to your original socket and the extra one you intend to fit.

Hi all, thanks for the reply’s I’ve wago the old wire with the new wire and secured it in a box and will spur from the original socket. I’m getting a caravan engineer to look and sign the work off when it’s complete.
