I put “Truma ultraheat fire clicking noise on electric” into google & it suggests:
“clicking noise coming from a Truma heating system while running on electric typically stems from the 12V gas igniter system being stuck or accidentally triggered (try replacing the battery), a failing blower/fan unit, or thermal relay switching”.
I’m sure others far more expert than me will be more helpful. Might be helpful to describe the clicking a bit more, especially if it’s fast or not.

Is it perhaps just the various bits of metal heating up and expanding and contracting?
