Evening all,
We've got a 1996 Sterling Europa van but the water pump switch is jammed in the off position.
I've managed to get the front plate off the switch until but the actual switch seems to be stuck in position.
It's the top left switch in the attached pic.
Anyone have any hints or tips as to how to get the switch out of the box please.

I know this is the 'wrong' switch, but just using photo to demonstrate how the switch type is fitted. https://cpc.farnell.com/arcolectric-bulgin-limited/c5503fqnae/rocker-switch-spst-i........

Integral to the switch body at top and bottom are sprung 'retainers'. Typically these types of switch are fitted from the front without access to back of panel being necessary, just pushed in and the 'retainers' spring into position to hold in place.

To remove, usually necessary to access the back of the switch and depress the 'retainers' before pushing it forwards out of the panel. As the switch is defunct and can be sacrificed, it's sometimes possible to distort the bezel and force a thin screwdriver or blade in from the front at top or bottom to depress the retainer and ease the switch forward, care needed to ensure panel is not damaged! Access to rear is by far the best choice!

These are standard format switches, available from a number of retail sources like ebay, Amazon etc.
