The floor at the back of my caravan has showed high damp readings at its recent service it might have been caused by a faulty seal on a locker door and rain has got in,
I have pulled back the flooring to expose the timber I can see a water mark and it feels slightly damp to the touch I am thinking to use a heater to dry it out is there any product out there I can apply to protect the wood from further damp?
We've just had a damp repair done in the back corners of the floor. We asked the service centre about sealing it and he felt that this could cause it's own problems as any water that did get in would have difficulty getting out or drying po. I must admit that I can see his point.

Sometimes a little rain must fall before you reach a rainbow.
The work will wait while you show the child the rainbow, but the rainbow won't wait while you finish the work.
It's only thin plywood so let it get some dry air on it, possibly a fan may be better than a heater, it will take a bit longer but dry more naturally, especially if it has wet the sub structure framework.
Just leave it 'au natural' so that it can breath.
