Is it just a key operated on/off switch? If so, it should be quite easy to replace with a new switch. You can pick them up on Amazon or Ebay for 5 or 6 quid.

The unit is called a Lunar Avenger it was installed during the building of the Caravan by the manufacturer, the security unit was made by a company called Neen, I have contacted them and they are no longer in business and we’re of no help at all couldn’t even tell me where I might get a replacement key to operate it.
I joined the Lunar owners club but they didn’t seem very interested when I asked whether they could help
As there is no key obviously a number is unavailable plus there is no number on the display unit either, I have contacted a Locksmith to see if they can help so after the Easter break I might get some joy
By the way thanks for your interest

I've had a look at pictures of the control box and the key and if you look at this picture I'm pretty sure the key at the bottom right is the same one.
This could be a new starting point for you.

All is not lost, BUT the solutions may be beyond your DIY skills!
The company that manufactured this alarm is I believe Keen (not Neen!) Electronics, and have not totally gone out of business but withdrew from alarms a couple of years or so back, and they were not fitted to Lunar vans for a good many years before that, my 2016 Lunar van has a Sargent brand alarm factory fitted, so no surprise there is little support.
Without the key/lock ID number there is little chance of getting a replacement key!
Now the good(ish!) news. Before delving into mechanical solutions, do you have the User instructions/manual that likely came with the alarm OR the Lunar User instructions/manual for the van? If so check to see if the Key code was recorded there! If not, then on to mechanical solutions.
Firstly, the body of the lock inside the unit 'may' have a ID number marked on it! Secondly these types of lock/switch (assuming it's nothing unique to the alarm - HIGHLY unlikely!) are commonplace and easily replaced as an entire unit with new keys. The difficulty for you is getting the unit open to exploit either solution! This is largely a reverse of the installation procedure: http://www.keenelectronics.co.uk/avengeralarminstallation.html
On the front of the unit there are two screw covers (in same position as a standard 13A twin plug socket), they need prising out to reveal the screws. Removing the screws should give you access to the back of the unit where you can inspect the lock/switch body for ID numbers. This would also allow you to replace the Lock/switch unit, or remove the entire alarm for someone to work on it on a bench, any competent electrical/electronics engineers should have no trouble exchanging the lock/switch, local TV/electronics repair man is always a good choice to ask.
BEFORE trying to open up the unit, ensure ALL electrical supplies are removed, no EHU, no tow car electrically connected, and disconnect the leisure battery!

With reference to the above post by 'blueexpo97' I had a look at the link they posted and I would say the bottom red key has a very strong possibility that this would fit looking at the key design and the key slot on the Avenger Alarm System. Keys are not expensive to buy so maybe worth buying one and see if it fits. If that fails then proceed and get a professional to investigate but it's a cheaper option to buy the key first as you might strike it lucky!
Not the red key the bottom right key in the link.
These can be purchased on Amazon and ebay for a few pounds, and doesn't matter where you look they are all the same.
I would take a punt and get one.

If it is a tubular key a decent locksmith will have a pick/decoder that can impression the pins of the lock and then get a key cut to match the impression coding. It is possible to do it yourself but the pick/decoder will probably cost as much as a new alarm.

We had the alarm on our Lunar and had endless issues with it and in the end we never bothered with switching it on as too many false alarms. Plus no one takes any notice of an alarm sounding so not much use.
