Bailey Unicorn Valencia 2011. Door 5 to under bed storage letting in a small amount of rain. This collects in one corner of the black liner so no damage so far.
However, don’t want to have to remember to go and check it and soak it up every couple of weeks so spoke to Prima Leisure and found a Thetford (new) seal for 24GBP.
How are these fitted? Do I need glue or silicon or is the seal manufactured to somehow clip in place?
I thought they just pushed on?? could be wrong of course.
------------- XVI yes?
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
The new service door seal will most likely be slightly longer than needed which is designed specifically for that reason so you end up with a perfect fit around the perimeter of the locker. The old seals just pulls off the but you may need some pliers to help lift it off. Do a bit at a time and eventually the old seal will be removed. Clean thoroughly around the perimeter where the new seal fits so there is no debris to restrict the tight seal. The new seal starting point should be half way along the TOP of the locker and feed it on a bit at a time taking care at each corner so it's pushed right on then continue till you meet the top of the seal where you started. If the seal is longer (which it probably is) you have to trim the end of new seal exactly at the meeting point so it looks like a neat professional job and stops any rain water getting past the new rubber seal.
