The IDM4 alarm in my 2006 Bailey Senator Vermont is puzzling me.
I have a full instruction/ installation manual but the alarm doesn't respond to keypad entries.
The internal battery is fully charged and when everything is disconnected and reconnected I believe the alarm should reset to the factory default code 1234.
What actually happens is that when everything is reconnected. three green lights display on the keypad against 1)PIR, 2}SHK/TILT AND 3)TOW = and a red light against 4) FNC.
The other lights over 5 ) SHK/TILT & 6) SET UP are not lit.
This is without entering any code or pressing any buttons.
I have no idea how to then proceed or whether this is normal.
I have then tried entering 1234. arming the system, pressing F7 to test the siren etc with no result. The lights just stay on. Nothing else happens.
I only have a single PIR connected into the control box and assume the tilt sensor is in the control box along with the siren. I have no second towplug. The instructions do not refer to the FNC or the SET UP - what are these for ?
Any assistance from someone who knows how this alarm operates when it is working properly would be appreciated
Here's hoping ......
