Sounds like a main battery fuse problem. I don't know that specific model but often there is an inline fuse somewhere near where the battery cables enter. It may not be blown but check the fuseholder for corrosion, that is the problem I had soon after I bought my caravan. I couldn't find the fault at first as the fuse looked ok, but when I took the fuse out that's when I found it. I replaced my fuseholder with a 12 volt DC circuit breaker.

Have you checked the 12V fuses? They should be under a seat at the front of the van or in a cupboard. If they are all ok then use a multimeter to check the battery voltage, you should see 12.4V to 12.8V from a healthy battery. If that is ok, there should be an inline fuse between the battery and the fuse box, this is usually either in the battery compartment or with the main fuse box. Pull the fuse out and inspect it. If the fuse is not obviously blown, test it with a multimeter to be sure. If the fuse has blown, replace it but do not use any 12v devices until they have all been checked and all other fuses tested.
If the Inline battery fuse has not blown, first check the battery connectors for tightness and to ensure they are free from dirt and grease. If they are ok, remove one of the fuses from the fuse box and place the multimeter probes onto the fuse contacts and check for 12.4V to 12.8V. If there is no voltage and the battery, terminals and inline fuse are ok, then it is likely a wiring fault between battery and fuse box, which you should get a competent person to check and repair. If you have 12.4V to 12.8V across the fuse terminals and the fuses are ok, then it is likely that there is a fault with the fuse box, and again, it should be checked and repaired/replaced by a competent person.

Do you have 12.4V-12.8V across the fuse contacts in the Fuse box?

About the only way of solving the problem then is with a test meter. Start at the battery then work outwards. When you come to somewhere where there is no voltage, you have found your problem. If there is no 12 volt equipment working at all, the problem can't be far from the battery or where the cables come into the caravan.

Don't forget that main battery fuse, it may well not be in the main fusebox.

On your caravan do you have to switch the lights etc on at the main control panel by the door?

Ok, that narrows it down quite a lot. If you have changed the battery and checked the inline fuse then the fault most likely lies in the wiring from the battery. One thing to check is the habitation relay. This operates when the engine is running and switches between the battery charging circuit and the caravan's 12V electrical system. If this is faulty the relay could be stuck in the charging position meaning no power to the caravan from the battery. If this is ok, check the battery leads are properly connected at both ends and use a multimeter to check for hidden breaks in the cable.

Just as a piece of advice to avoid misunderstanding, it helps us understand who you are replying to if you quote the post you are replying to. Do you mean you don't have to manually turn on the van's electrics?
