Hi I’m after advice on where a roof leak has started
I have a 2012 Crusader Cyclone. It has the same look as the pre 2013 Solid models.
I haven’t had the van out since 2020 and was hoping to get the van serviced ready for this summer.
I have found the roof board at the area in front of front upper lockers slighting discoloured and showing slights areas of softness starting.
I had a damp specialist look and advised my warranty insurance that thee van was overdue service
So I can’t put in a claim.
Has anyone got any experience of where the leak may be a common way of getting in
Also how difficult is it to get the lockers out and where can i buy new wall boards

Did the engineer who gave you the damp report five you an estimate to repair? What you describe seems to be a common fault with the rail running across the front above the windows. The rail needs to be removed, the area dried and then the rail refitted.
