Our Swift caravan fridge(RS 8551)which is six years old has stopped working. This was during the heatwave in June. Our guess is that it is the PCB board.We ordered one in June but Dometic are behind with supplying parts. There are one hundred people on the UK suppliers list waiting for this part. December is supposed to be the date Dometic have said they will have some parts available,originally it was August. This is just not good enough.
Has anyone else got this problem?

Our Dometic fridge stopped working last year, and we (service engineer actually) thought it was circuit board. Took it in for service, engineeer turned it upside down for a day, reinstalled it, and it’s been fine since, praise be. Might be worth a try, unless it’s a definite diagnosis of circuit board failure.
