Hi all, long time lurker first time poster. I'm currently staying in a 1996 Swift Challenger 530SE that's on long-term hookup in my dad's back garden (long story; my usual place has flooded).
I've been trying to fix up a few issues with it - nobody could find the key so I forced the battery box to get the lock code, we've ordered a battery and a pump for it so it's got water now, I've resolved leaks in the bathroom and shower taps and replaced a broken and leaking rooflight, etc - mostly in an effort to make it a bit more homely.
Now I've come to the door, and it's missing a blind - and seemingly a whole blind assembly. (And a bin.) 1996 models are obviously ancient enough anyway now but the inside of the door seems to be the one angle nobody ever takes photos of. I've attached a couple of images of the top and bottom halves of the door; can anybody help identify:
1) what blind I'd need to get for something like this; and
2) what's missing from the bottom half? There's two mount points in the middle with clear signs of shearing, so something was probably broken off it at some point.
I know it's a 1996 model and information is likely to be scarce, but any help anyone can offer would be greatly appreciated.
Hi, if you're after exact fittings Staffordshire caravan breakers at Lichfield could probably help with 2nd hand parts. The door blind would be the cassette type a smaller version of the larger window blinds. When our door blind broke I got a small roller blind from argos for about £8 and you trim to size you want and that does the job
