Hi we are currently on holiday and our mover let me down when pitching on Saturday, the led light on the box is just flashing when I switch it on via the remote, and I don't get the usual clicking noise from the box, will this be a simple repair or a case of a new control box? It's the original carver AR1 box I believe.
What would the cost be for a repair and a new/recon soft start box?
Flashing red light indicates malfunction, you can check the motors independantly by connecting them directly to the battery feed terminals and they should rotate when powered up. (Be careful not to short out battery + & - though). If motors OK then unit will need repair.
I do a fixed cost repair to all Carver "Non soft Start" units such as yours for £55 + £5 return postage - Turnaround time usually 2 days (Sameday repair + 1 day postage).
If no fault found on the unit when sent to me - no charge is made and I will return FOC.
Repairs to Truma M1 soft start units £65 + £5 return postage (Same turnaround times)
or I can supply Truma M1 Soft Start control unit & Handset for £145 + £10 postage (Next day delivery) - 12 Month Warranty - see Ebay listing under "soltyr" for more details

Hi I have a powertouch evolution automatic the green standby light comes on and nothing else with the remote seems the unit doesn't see the remote also my remote doesn't have the 3.5mm Jack plug to move otherwise do you repair or test these units thanks jeff

If you repair PCB boards would you be kind enough to see if you can answer a query on my thread regards 'ultraheat PCB problem' ??
We have the single axle carver motor movers M606846 and have to adjust for new tyres that are a similar size but slightly larger but have found the stop blocks don't have any bolt or screw to adjust them. Can you please help
A bit late for me as I have recently had to pay Truma £222 for a new circuit board. Actually, they replace the whole blue box and re program your remote.
I was left in the embarrassing situation of my caravan just coming out of the driveway to a point where it was blocking the road and the mover electronics went down.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
