Can somebody help. The filling point on my C200 toilet is outside via the service door 3. When I pull the filling pipe out and fill it up it doesn’t go into the toilet. Am I missing something or could it be blocked. Secondly is it easy to dismantle as I don’t want to force it and break it.

Do you have to open the service door to access the filling tube?
If so then it's not a Thetford C200 model and more likely to be a C4 model. The C200 has a flap ABOVE the service door which is the filling point so you need to clarify which of the two it is so the correct advice can be given.

Now the correct toilet has been clarified, there should be a flexible rubber tube with an end cap at the bottom right of the filling tank which is the drain pipe. Get an empty bucket, pull the pipe out then pull off the end cap and see if any fluid comes out. If it does then let it drain out completely, re-cap the tube then try filling up the tank again with plain water. If it doesn't drain then you have a blockage so the best solution is to treat it with diluted Milton and leave overnight as sometimes black bits can accumulate and restrict the flow of flush water.

Thank you will try. Have tried putting hot water through the filler pipe but no joy. Once again thanks.

Putting hot water down isn't going to solve the problem unless the water inside is frozen during winter, in fact it could do more damage by expanding the joints as the system is only designed to take cold water. An application of Milton would have been a better option to disolve any clocked up particles in the tank.

You need to keep pouring to 'force' the water through. This was the system on our folding camper.

This was a previous post on the same subject, maybe.

How are you forcing it through. It is gravity fed.

Does it look like this set up?

So sorry . I didn’t realise if I pressed on the highlighted word it lead elsewhere. New to the site and caravanning so appreciate your help but not the snotty attitude.

Hi Mick. Are you saying that when you fill flush tank that as you pour a bit in that it overflows & that when you try to flush toilet no water comes out? If toilet will not flush then you have a blockage somewhere but otherwise what I find is that the water needs to be trickled in as you fill it. The water comes to top of filler neck but keep on gently trickling water in from can & eventually it should take around 10litres or more.

I use plain water in flush tank. I don’t bother with the pink liquid which seems to leave gunge in flush tank.

Still struggling with the filling point. It only takes s cup full and the filling point seems to indicate that it’s full but looking at the sight glass it’s showing empty. Is there a pipe leading from the filling point that could be blocked.
1. How can I unblock it?
2. Can and how do I get to the pipe to clean it or replace it.

Thank you

Does the toilet actually flush? Where is the sight glass you refer to?

Yes the toilet does flush it’s the filling the pink liquid compartment. It is filled from a point at the rear of the van above the cassette. The filling point seems blocked and at the side there is a glass tube to check your levels and that indicates that it is empty too.
