Hi, 2 of the door shelves in my Unicorn 3 Vigo Dometic fridge have broken. I believe the cost of replacing them is about £40.00 each. I read an article that a chap called Ian Brown was selling 3D printed repair/strengthening brackets, which you could bond onto the shelf with an epoxy adhesive.I have tried to contact Ian without success and I wondered if anybody had come across someone who sells them.
Regards Roy

We have a different model to yours, but our door shelf uses 2 small lugs to fit over top lugs on the door. Sorry, not a very good description. If it stops raining I will go out to the caravan and take a photo.
The piece o the shelf broke but I managed to make a small repair piece from a scrap of aluminium that slides in and solves the problem.

When I get the photo, hopefully all will be clear but it is a tad too moist out there at the moment to venture out!

Hi Ancient Uncle,
Just to say, don't bother with the photos. I bought a small length of L shaped aluminium extrusion from Homebase for £10.00 over the weekend and made brackets to repair 2 shelves, I also strengthened the the third one. I bonded the aluminium to plastic shelves with 2 part epoxy Araldite which I already had.

Sorry I did not get round to the photos, but you obviously found an ideal solution.
