why not stick it on ebay as spares or repairs

Well here's the closure on this one; I stuck it in the ad trader for spares or repair for £150 and much to my surprise I was inundated with calls and sold it straight away.  There was I thinking I might have to break it up for bits and take the rest to the tip - I could clearly have asked more for it if I'd realised the demand.  Ah well, glad it's off the drive.

I've now spent £600 on a 1993 Abi Montana complete with such modern luxuries as hot water and a shower, so we've moved up in the world!

It does have a few issues to sort, including a little damp, but nothing as daunting as the old one - provided I don't leave it until next year to address.
