I did try to remove the front panel of the PSU however the aperture surrounding that SHOULD allow the panel too be removed as been cut too tightly to allow easy removal of the panel. It looks as though it has been put in place from the bed locker side and the plywood "casing" built around it. I was able to pull the panel forward a little and the main plug WAS still in place - in fact it had been secured with a cable tie.
The battery appears to be holding it's charge quite well but it is dropping slowly so it looks as though the psu/charger is not re-charging it. I am not going to investigate further at present but will wait until we get home on Saturday.
