When I bought our caravan I was told the aerial was broken. Never one to take it's broken for an answer, I had to try it. The LED on the power pack was not coming on when the aerial was plugged in. It had to be a short circuit in the aerial and sure enough, I removed the plug to find the outer shielding was wrapped around the centre core. Made the connection good and found the Status works better than the roof aerial on the house
