Hi,
As tempting as it is to try and seal it, I would be mindful that you are in dispute with the seller.
If amazingly they were to offer to take it back they could point out you have tampered with it in the meantime giving them an out.
Personally I would wait and find out the outcome.
Regards,
Greg

Opensauce - just to clarify, would you suggest picking all the old sealant out, then cleaning with meths, then applying the sealant or just sealing over the top of the old stuff?
Cheers
This is not exact science. Do as little as necessary. Choose morning of a dry day. Pull out any loose hard old sealant, clean with meths & run beads of PU sealant over top & into any gaps. For example you may notice gaps in awning rail & 'tother side as it goes around the roof corners. That's where the wet seeps in. Get as much sealant in as you can. Also around roof lights. Roof lights open when you do it to ensure hatch does not get stuck down.
For the price of a cartridge of PU sealant you can keep an old caravan dry. It's not meant to look pretty but it works. Usually 1 cartridge should be sufficient. It does not keep long once opened so aim to do the whole lot in one or 2 sessions.
Great thanks - Just got to wait for some dry weather in Sunderland!!!!!
Thanks for the advice Greg - makes sense. Just tempting to get things sealed to prevent any further damage, but understand what you mean. It's clearly been like this for a while, so a little bit more won't hurt too much
