Coiled cable is what would be called 'grouped' as the heat from one turn passes into the other cables. The regs have grouping factors to be applied to the current rating. For 8 cables it is 0.52.
So a 20 Amp cable with 8 coils can only carry 20 x 0.52 = 10.4 Amps.
