I work as tile fixer and one thing we fit to showers before tiling is a tanking system to stop water from penetrating throug the grout joints and damaging the walls. You can paint this stuff inside a cardboard box and use it as a water tank its that good. The cheapest kit you can buy is available from screwfix or trades-direct.co.uk. Its not hard to apply and you could do it yourself and therefore save money on firbe glassing. Here is a link  its on special offer at £25 +VAT+postage

Aw that's interesting Mr AB, thanks for that will show to OH later.  We were contemplating trying the fibreglass kit on the inside of the locker box but this might just do the trick.  We live in Screwfix's home town so easy to get from their shop.
