Not in the floor as yet, only the top ply. however, I have had to replace some in an area at the top of the walls and the ceiling both sides. The battens were glued to the aluminium skin but it crumbled so it made removal that much easier. Just be careful if you need to do similar, don't puncture the thin skin, any foam damaged can be easily replaced.

The carpentry is very basic, you certainly won't find any dovetail joints in a caravan, just cut back to sound wood, (A multi tool is a godsend here) and make simple overlapping joints with plenty glue and even short screws, and/or brackets to reinforce. Stainless steel screws are more expensive but the best. If the area gone is where the side wall and floor meet you may have to replace both sections so look out for the screws holding them together, replace them if rusted. Aim to do the job once and well.

Dave.
