Hi, after the great response I had from my first question I posted, I have another!
I cleaned through my water system this evening and found that for some reason my bathroom taps (hot and cold) only dribble the water out (it is literally just trickle!!). The kitchen taps are both fine.
I have taken the housing off the sink unit and checked the pipework for any kinks/leaks and cant see anything wrong. Would anyone be able to suggest what might be causing this?
(I have a 92 Elddis Wisp with microswitch taps by the way)
is the pump running when you turn on the taps in the bathroom?if no then open a batroom tap say cold then open a kitchen tap if the flow increases ,the micro switches are at fault if there is no blockage.to test a micro switch on a tap, turn on the tap and the pump should run if not remove the two wires and touch together with the pump switched on,if the pump runs the micro switch is at fault.

------------- the only silly question is the one you do not ask.
The pump was running when I turned the taps on, the flow didnt change wether I had the kitchen tap runing or not, I discounted a blockage coz its both hot and cold taps with low flow......
Looking at the table, it suggests low 12v power, this i could understand if it was the same on the kitchen taps, but the flow on them is fine.....I will have to do a bit more investigative work tomorrow I think. It doesnt look like this is going to be an easy fix!!
Maybe a silly question, if you have the Whale Elegance tap/shower head as I do on my Wisp, are you sure that the ring on the spout that changes it from tap to shower isn't in the almost off position, When I first got my Wisp, I had a similar problem and after much trying and cursing, found that this was the problem. The ring on the spout has 3 positions, one of which is the off position , and mine was almost in the off position so that a little water would come through, but not full flow.
We've had the same problem with our bathroom HOT tap eversince hubby changed the taps.....but that aint in our tin tent I'm afraid....... BOY would I lub a new bathroom!
And a new kitchen....and a downstairs loo......and......a new body......and a NEW HOUSE!

Definitely not a silly question, I think I might have a check of this tonight, didnt realise!!!!!!
I would say it's a fault with the tap / taps , but to check it is , remove the pipes to the bathroom taps and place the ends into a bucket , then switch the pump on , if the flow is good the problem will be the taps , if the flow is bad i'd look at it being a blockage / kink in the pipe work . If you have a shower what is the pressure like from that , as the shower and taps probably feed off the same pipes , and they will be quite close to each other so this would help narrow down how far away the blockage / kink is .

Hi Mike (shocam), how did you get on with taps?, it would be nice to hear whether you got it sorted out
Hi guys
sorry I havent replied yet, I have been a bit busy with work so havent had a chance yo have a look, I'm going to try to check them out again today, I will let you know....
I have just checked and it looks like the tap was switched off!! If you could all tell me it was a simple mistake to make and youve all done it, that would be a real help...
I'd hate to tell you how long it took me to figure it out, so yes, it's a simple mistake. The most important thing is that you now have your bathroom taps working and I know from experoence how good a feeling that is.
