Just been browsing the web for some new tyres for a 1994 4 berth monza the dimensions are 165/80 R13 83T.

All I could find were 165/80 R13 80T and these were going for £25 each.

I have just a few questions.

1.Is this a good price?

2. Any ideas where to shop for tyres?

3.where can I get to 83 load index tyres from or are 80 load tyres ok?

Cant believe the van still had originals on 13 yrs old.

Needless to say I brought it home very cautiously.

83 means it can take a higher load weight, they are possibly reinforced escort type  van tyres?

They should be replaced with the same, you could try a 175/80/14 or 175/70/14 and see what load it can take and get advice as to any problems.

see here BOGOFF not being rude have a look at national tyres,tell them the loading to each thats required.best if balanced too.
