I have an Electrolux 3 way fridge that doesn't cool down. When run on 240 volt the element on the rear gets warm but the fridge doesn't cool at all. Would anyone have any ides as to what the problem could be?

This could be due to sediment (rust particles etc) blocking or restricting the flow.

Try turning the fridge upside down and leaving for an hour then turning it the right way up again and switching it on.

I agree with Rod , turning the fridge upside down , then back up right again after an hour may just be what it needs .

But before you do this make sure you are checking the fridge when it is perfectly level , because fridges don't work well when unlevel .
Have you tried it on gas ?

Try it on gas first as it's possible the electric element is getting to hot, I've found the resistance across the element can drop from around 470 ohms to 370 don't know why it can do this but it overheats the 'cooler'

If it does not work on both then try turning over but pointless waiting more than 15 seconds, as soon as the liquid stops moving turn it back again and repeat half a dozen times.  You can connect it then to the mains without reinstalling it for test purposes
