Have you thought about "no more nails" type glue that comes in a silicone gun type tube (do not use silicone), or any moisture resistant builders adhesive from B&Q would do the trick. Look for "fast grab" I used some which was only £2 per tube and it works well.
My advice is to avoid "contact" advesive which is probably what the use in the factory, it stinks, and once it touches you are stuck! No second chances!
Some glues may dissolve the insulation by a chemical reaction so it is always worth trying some on a piece of scrap material first.
Lastly, take your time, make sure everything fits and is properly prepared and laid out first, and think about how you will hold everything in place 'till the glue sets. Fast grab stuff will hold well by itself onced predded into position whils setting

Will get some "fast grab" type glue tomorrow and give it a go on some test pieces of polystyrene, and then fingers crossed we can get to work putting our caravan back together .
I would suggest Evo Grip Non solvent adhesive ( do not use the solvent type as it melts polystyrene , you should check for this on any product you buy ) you can by it in tubes at B&Q . Remember to do zig zag lines of sealant and not circles of sealant on the panels . I know someone who used no nails to stick wall board and 2 days later it still hadn't gone off , so it's a good idea to test first .
Did you find where the damp was getting in? i.e the awning rail. If it is then i would get this resealed first and make sure that their is no more leaks before you refit the polystyrene. You don`t want to put the polystyrene back in and then find out the caravan is still leaking. Would be a waste of money and effort. Hope you get it sorted.
