I have a 92 swift challenger that has a roof leak.It was coming in through the skylight but i have since stripped out and resealed.
The actual roof now has a bevel in it,which makes me think one of the roof straps has given way,Before i attempt this repair myself, which hopefully is not to difficult, does anyone know how the cupboards etc come down,i have located the screws that hold them to the roof but is there any screws that hold them to the walls.
The actual roof now has a bevel in it Which side , inside or outside . Do you mean the ceiling inside is sagging ?
There should be screws holding the cupboards to the walls , they are usually quite well hidden , sometimes under plastic screw covers , or underneath the cupboard base . Also some cupboards have a false bottom inside and the screws can be under this .

If you cant do someone a good turn, don`t do them a bad one,its nice to be nice you know, and little things mean much more later in life.
Pete.
Its not the ceiling thats sagging, but if i dont fix quick it will be.
When i had the rooflight out,it was like the roof was bashed in on the outsidejust behind the roof light, and if pushed from the inside the roof moces quite easily.
Do you reckon difficult,or just time consuming.
I say go for it,but trying to convince the wife i can probably do it is difficult

Hi Alan , can you send me a picture of the roof . I would say unless the dip in the roof is excessive and the ceiling is sagging on the inside , it's best left alone . My old caravan had a less than flat roof , but this had no effect on the inside and imo to put it right would have ment replacing the whole roof aluminum sheet front to back .
Hi Pete , thanks mate , do feel free to send me a picture or too of your lads caravan so i can see what a good job he's made of it .
