Hello

First time out this weekend and found that the awning that came with our 1991 Elddis is not only covered with a big patch of 'smelly' mold but the middle Ball Joint bracket has snapped on the frame (see pic).  It is a Bradcot awning.  I have been in touch with A1 but they are waiting a delivery in a couple of weeks as Bradcot are on 2 weeks holiday.  I am due to go away this weekend again.  Does anyone know anywhere else I can get a replacement?  Also, can anyone recomend something to clean the mold?

Yeah, I'd thought of that. 

I need to see if there is anyone I can find to do it...  Wish I could weld!

it would help if you posted which area you are from, some times caravan dealers have spares or second hand bits like awing poles and parts.

milton solution with a drop of  baby lotion may do the trick ..no doubt someone will come up with a better idea ..i hope so ..i'm all ears on this one too ..

Just to let you know I have had the joint welded this morning.  I just wasn't sure how reliable a joint would be if repaired this way.  I have been assured it will be as good as a new one. 

Hats off to the Engineering operations manager for doing such a great job in no time at all.
