i have a sprite alpine 4, which has a place for a radio with wiring for power & speakers already there, but no aerial connection, has anyone any suggestions for what aerial options i have.

Just do a Google UK search for "caravan aerial", loads of suggestions come up.

But

Vision Plus Radio Antenna

looksgood.

Depends how serious you feel about installing an antenna, as it almose enevitably will entail drilling your van. Unless you go for a more temporary solution like a normal car aerial with lead through the window and suckers to attach the antenna on the outside of your van.
