Hi Folks
just got our first van and the person we bought it off said not to keep the sun blinds down when not in use as it causes condensation. Cant understand why?
Which should I use i.e fly screens, black out blinds, curtains or all 3, I'll probably go for the blinds, easier to do.

Ours is stored between trips with the blinds down.
OH wont close the curtains as she worries (right/wrong?) that they will fade in the sunlight.
My own thoughts are that condensation is aggravated by lack of ventilation as much as much as anything else.

It's not a good idea to keep the blinds down as it weakens the springs, also it affects the air circulation so can aggravate condensation.------------- Caz

Only my view but...
We always leave the blinds down when not in use, never had a problem with having to re tension them we figure it's less expensive to tension a blind than it is to have to replace faded upholstry. We always keep the hekki blindoped but pull the fly blind this way it lets a little light in.
We also keep the halogen heater on one bar on a timer during the night just to keep the chill off in the winter, though we have friends who don't and theirs are o.k, so it's really a matter of preference.
