We have very recently bought a 2003 Avondale Dart 556/6 caravan and after having a good look over and clean yesterday noticed in the bathroom, under a large mat which had been laid down on the floor, that the shower tray has broken and split in 3 places. I presume that it is impossible to get a replacement shower tray as Avondale are no more so I was wondering if there was anyway of repairing the shower tray or does it just mean no showers in the future in the caravan??
2 - all the old avondale stock was bought by a trader, may be worth ringing round your local dealers to see if they know who the parts are available off.
Hi Ang, There are three places to go for Avondale shower trays, CaravanPanels.com. and Derek-justice at talk21.com and Gaurdian Caravan Services. Good luck, Doug
Hi I know this post is from a long time ago but I am wondering did you ever find a solution. We have ourselves in the very same situation as yourself now.
Many years ago we had a cracked shower tray and we took the van to a nearby workshop and had it sprayed with “speed coat”. Not sure if this would be of use in your situation, but maybe worth investigating.
