Just bought a fantastic Abbey Piper 1994 model in great condition. However, the kitchen tap leaks from the bottom whenever you turn the tap on or off. I've heard it's quite easy to fix or should I call in the experts?
possible frost damage ..install a new one is my advice ,, simple job and cost effective ...imagine the grin on yer kisser when you show the missus ..go on get it done ..
had the same problem ,it turned out that the clip round the pipe was loose ,i had to take the sink out to get at the clip ,was a lot easier than i expected.
mine was a washer, done it last week but could not get the exact washer so used a thicker washer and it worked but tap is a bit stiff now, but great to stop the kids messing with it lol.
