Caravans have no MOT requirement but an annual service is recommended. Some insurance ask when last serviced.
Not as complex as cars can do it yourself if you are up to it or get done at a dealer or via an independant or mobile service. If you buy new best to have done by dealer where purchased. I bought mine second hand and use a local mobile service that visits my storage site to do the work.
Many owners prefer the convenience of having it serviced at their home or on storage and Paying Less, plus you get to watch the service being carried out, and some people like to go to Dealers and Pay More.
