Hello,
As you may be aware i am carrying out some repairs to my mums fleetwood, I have now found another problem.
Under the front seat in the corner the floor board is rotten, I have found the leak in the front panel and repaired it and now i have no idea how to repair the floor.
I have dried the area and i have a 2 x 2" patch of rot in the corner i can poke my finger right through, the rest of the wood is solid, I am woried as the corner steady is bolted directly to this piece, as its under the seat, i wonder if i could treat the rotten part then lay a new board on top then screw up from underneath, then fill and seal the hole outside?
Any advise would be appreciated.

I would go about things slightly differently , i would remove the rotten bit's of floor , then dry the area , next screw a piece of board underneath that overlaps the damaged edges by a few inches or more . Now i would fill the gap with floor delamination glue ( if it's a big area use the glue but add polystyrene sheet etc to fill the void ) . When the area is filled to over flowing add a piece of sheet on the top and place some weight on it , once the glue has gone off the piece should be stuck firmly in place .
Note you could use quite a few different things to fill the floor , it's up to you what you use , i'd recommend the floor glue because it sets rock hard .
