I have become the owner of an old Knaus that needs the awning rails resealed.
The problem is they have a rubber gasket underneath that extends from either side of the rail that sits on top of them. To complicate matters further both form a right angle over the very edge of the van.
Do I have to replace the rubber gasket or would mastic be enough of a job?
