Hi I have just purchased a Challerger 540 2007 model thye fridge has a automated control whichs switchs to whatever supply is the strongest when its on auto ,It went wrong the first week we camped took it back and they said they ordered a new part but having come back from camping again we noticed the fridge has still not switched over to car and there is not auto mode showing on the led and when its on caravan battery mode its flashing to say it has a fault .its gong back again tomorrow Im just wondering if anybody else has had this probeluem ?
I have an '06 Challenger 540, and the set up is as follows;
it can either run off the car whenever the engine is running(Battery symbol), electric on site (Plug symbol), or gas (Flame symbol).I have to manually select the method I want to use, using the left-hand push-button.The flashing light just means that it is not getting any supply whatsoever, and can be extinguished by pushing and holding in, the small rectangular button below the LED panel. There is no facility for running it off the caravan battery, as it would just flatten the battery within a few hours. Hope this helps.
