hi,

today my water pump arrived from ebay !!!

this only provided me with a further 3 problems.

1. No hot water to the taps

2.pump would not stop running.

3. Water leak from external cascade unit.

I located the pressure switch (I think) next to the heater and turned it down, The pump was then on and off intermitantly. I think this is due to a leak  - Am I correct??

there seems to be a leak from the external cascade unit, from what I presume is the drain screw. i removed it and the water was hot that poured from the hole, which shows the burner is fine .I checked the washer it looks to be fine - Why is the water leaking from it?

When I tried the taps, the cold water is coming through no problem. However the Hot is either nothing or a wee splutter then nothing...

Any ideas on why there is no hot water?

Incidently - I think its a presure system as it seems that the wires are not connected from the taps.

Thanks

Gary

it it just leaking from the drain plug, or is it coming from the actual cowl?
the hot wont come through if its leaking straight out, the tank needs to fill.
on the bottom left of the cowl should be the drain plug, if its leaking or not there it wont fill.
if its leaking from the cowl, that may be an issue for gary.

the pressure switch will be either built into, or near to the water inlet inside the van
