Hi Guy's. I have a Vagabond Messager folding caravan that I havent used for a couple of years & the A frame is a bit rusty. Someone told me to just use vinegar, but can I use it on galvenised metal, or what is the best solution.
As Keith1664 says a wire brush on a drill, or a soft pad on a angle grinder to remove the rust then a good coat of steel pimer, and a top coat,DONT FORGET to wear safety glasses and some good gloves and a mask if the rust is causing a lot of dust.
------------- Think this year is to follow old meet friends for 2014.
If you cant do someone a good turn, don`t do them a bad one,its nice to be nice you know, and little things mean much more later in life.
Pete.

Hi wire brush the loose off and you can use a tin of galvanising (zinc based)spray,I,ve used it on my A-frame&jockey wheel etc and it seems to be holding up well.
