Hi all,
A couple of questions about delamination. We have a 1996 Sterling Europa 500L.
Is it damaging to the caravan to continue using it when the entire floor is now noticeably spongy and springy
Can anyone recommend a good repair place (South East), as it's not a job we fancy doing ourselves as the floor has fitted glued down vinyl that runs along and under the entire area, under all the cupboards and benches.

Do you have loose carpets over? Do you usually have the carpets in place?
We did ours, just drilled through the vinyl, we always used the carpets anyway.
But, to be honest, OH made such a good job of it, you could hardly see it in the vinyl.------------- Jennifer

It is an easy job to do, but will really cost you to have done at a dealer.
If you leave it, it will get worse. best fix it now.------------- Jennifer

Hi Jennifer,
Thanks for taking the time to reply.
We are thinking of diying it, but haven't attempted it yet.
Any hints and tips are gratefully received.
Its quite a large area, so we are a little unsure how long it's going to take.

Do a bit at a time. Michael has a good guide on how to do it.
It is not difficult, just takes time. The kit costs about £25-30 and does about 1 sq metre, it all depends on how bad it is.------------- Jennifer
