Hello to all, i am doing up an old caravan a total refit through damp etc, trying to get it all ready for next year for the family, its well under way but i had a sudden thought a few days ago i dont know how the water system works or even where the inlet is from the aquaroll or alike,(how to get water into the van) i have a whale foot pump which works along side the whale electric pump positioned under the kitchen unit, i think the foot pump is to prime the system then the electric takes over. the caravan is in storage some miles away so what with work i only manage to go to the van once or twice a month so any clues would be fantastic for my next visit its a 85 swift corniche. im new to caravanning but learning with ukcs and your help, thankyou.
Thanks Jaysere, i do have 3 outlets (inlets?) on the side of the van, so you just connect a appropriate pipe to the middle one the other end into the aquaroll and the pump does the rest, if i remember right the middle one is a different diameter to the other 2 thanks for the info, i send kind regards.
On mine the 2 outer ones are slightly larger there the waste water the middle one is inlet i just drop a water pipe in to water but, pump a little until the foot pump feels harder turn on the tap and test if its full of air this should come out i also have to sometimes pump it again
if youve not already done so maybe worth draining the carver system (if it has one) and flushing it through
