Hi, I wondered if it was possible to get rid of the curtains in my van and replace them with roller or venetian blinds.  I prefer the uncluttered look and would like the smooth lines that blinds create.  I know people have replaced blinds with argos roller blinds, but do you cut them to the screwhole width and what if the inner roller bit is made of cardboard?.  Can you use no more nails to secure if possible? Has anyone else ever got rid of their curtains?

I bought it from the link below, they are reasonably easy to fit, just look at the measuring instructions before you decide what size you require.

Hope this is of help

Hi.
I fitted black-out roller blinds to our old Abbey Somerset.
It did a far better job of keeping the caravan dark (young children - light nights & mornings!!!) & cool in the hot sun. Were easy to fit but best advice is to remove them for prolonged periods as the moisture levels over winter caused the cardboard tubes inside them to bow in the middle. Was easily fixed by inserting lengths of tubular steel broom handles from Wilkos for 58p each!!!
I reckon Venetians would be even easier.
