We have just bought a Fleetwood Garland 165/5 1991. There are a few issues we need to sort before we can use it for the first time, from searching the forums here i think i have found out a few things!!

I believe it is a Carver MK1 housing with filter built in. i think the filter is stuch in the housing, have got a few pointers from here on how to remove it so will give that a go, i also believe that the  pump has burned out, when i operate the pump it hums but doesn't seem to pump anything! so any help will be great!!

Thanks

Ben

Could be the pump or there could be a blockage in the system somewhere.

To check the pump put the pump in your aquaroll but do not connect it to the caravan. get two pieces of wire and  connect betweeen the pins on the caravan and the pump connections. Make sure you connect left to left right to right (just as they would normally contact if you were putting it on the van.

Now get somebody to turn the tap on in the van - if the pump is working properly  water should pump out of the hose - be prepared for this or you could end up very wet (I did !)

Hope this helps.

Thanks for this guys.

Since i Posted this i have discovered that we have a blockage in the system. I am planning on replacing all the water pipes, is this the best solution?

Thanks

Ben
