I proposing to fit a car audio unit and two speakers in a 1999 ABI Manhattan 520/4. I am thinking of fitting the audio unit in the offside front top locker under a false shelf. I can conveniently take a power supply from the main distribution box in the bed locker underneath - there is a hidden wiring route between the two. My problem is speaker location. The obvious positions for two speakers are in the triangular sections which exist between the front locker doors each side of the van and the caravan front panel. Although this is the position of two mains wall lights and two 12v bulkhead spotlights (One of each per side)there would be room for a 4 inch speaker each side (3.5 would be better if I can get them with bezels). My difficulty is that before cutting the holes with a hole saw I would like to check what is behind the triangular sections (wires that could be damaged etc) and should like to temporarily remove the dividers between the front lockers and the hidden areas. It is not immediately obvious how these are fixed - any ideas anyone? An alternative location for the speakers would be horizontal in the bottoms of the front lockers under false shelves.Would this produce acceptable sound? Again 3.5 inch speakers would be easier to accommodate. Helpful comments anyone?

Peter
