Hi folks, what size batons would you suggest for replacing the blackened ones in our Avondale Rialto? Also, have you any suggestions as to where I could buy them and what is best to bond them to the alu skin with?

Louise and Icce I hope you spot this one too given all your recent hard work! Any help would be much appreciated as we tackle the last bit in the bathroom!

The batons for my avondale were 21mm square, any timber merchants will have these, treat them with Cuprinol wood preserver before fitting, a good soaking with this then let it dry in. Comes in 9 ft lengths for about 3 quid each. H

About 22mm , buy from B & Q , stick with either Tigerseal , Sikaflex 512 , EvoGrip ( non solvent type ) .

Depends on the age? imperial or metric, mine were 7/8", 22mm is very close but the slight difference makes life difficult joining them together.
