Hi fellow members
Can anybody help with a problem? my awning rail seems to have widened in places so when i feed the awning into it and i think im doing great i turn around to find it in a heap on the floor! my friend said hit it with a hammerbut he's a bit? well i think it's better to ask the experts
as ever grateful for any advice

personally if you could feed the runner in and then gently use a rubber mallet to tap rail back into shape, i think that would do it

i used an awning draught skirt inside the rail and a piece of hard wood half inch x half  inch tapped by a pin hammer.just keep checking for slide.
