I have just bought a 1989 ABI Globetrotter 15 feet long and although it's old it is in excellent condition. The only problem I have is with the double glazed front screen. It appears that there is water or condensation collecting in between the two sheets and a puddle is now forming at the bottom of the screen. I can only presume that the join has become unbonded somewhere causing this water to leak in. Has anyone had this problem before with this model or other and how big a job is it to have repaired. This is my first posting on this forum and any help would be much appreciated.

Check around the window for cracks but it might be condensation - you will find two stoppers in the inner glaze if you take these out on a warm day the water should evaporate, some have also drilled a hole in the bottom of the window (inside) to drain it.

As you can see from the answer it is a pretty common question

Cheers for that Rune Caster will have a look at those 2 solutions.

Hi
I have had the same problem with our abi what happens is that the two halves of the double glazed window come un bonded, i took our window out & tried to re bond the two halves but trying different products i could not get them to stick so in the end i ran some Sikaflex around the inside of the window rubber & replaced the window. This worked up to a point but i was still getting a small amount of water between the two (how does it get in) in the end i drilled two small holes one in each bottom corner on the underside of the window outside if you understand to let the water back out. A bit of a bodge but it works!
