hi, my ace statesman bathroom door keeps working loose at the hinges which attach to the frame.  the wood there seems to have split a bit.  does anyone have any idea how i can repair it.  i dont want to move the door up or down, which would seem the simplist solution, because i would have to re-do the lock on it.

mark where the door is now with a pencil top and bottom,then move the hinges inwards towards the centre where there is no split.

Or go back to the method they used to use, buy piano hinges. that's what I've done to all the bed locker's and the bathroom door in my van, cost £15.00.
