I have just aquired a solar panal (18w) with controller and would like to wire it into my caravan. There is a two pin plug next to main fuse where the main cables come through from the battery box and I for some reason think this is where a panal is connected. I have an Expression 420, which is basically a rebadged Abbey, 6 years old. Is it possible to post a picture on here to better show what I mean??

I would be more inclinded to wire your charge controller direct to the battery with a fuse inline , than use the wiring shown .
When you connect everything up make sure you connect the charge controller to the battery first and then the panel to the controller . if you connect the panel to the charge controller with out any where for the power from the panel to go ( eg to the battery ) , it's possible to damage the controller .

my sprite 6 has a similar socket that is marked up for solar panel , if you want a plug to fit it try your local model shop they are the same ones they use on remote control car battery packs
