mystery solved !

Ive found the hole where my fuse holder SHOULD !!! be. 

no connections loose wires , no nothing ( I used a mirror to find it )

 so I guess Ive found my problem , I'll have to take unit out & see whats happend

Gotta thank you as well Dean because if I hadn't gone out and looked earlier in daylight I wouldn't have been sure where it was and the fuse has just blown on mine, all OK now though

im struggling to get my fuse to stay in, is it held in with a small grey plastic angle piece because when removing fuse this type of bit appeared in my hand and i carnt for the life of me get the new fuse to stay in, any help appreciated.
